"Neighborly hate"

Films: Funny Games (2007)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: You ever see a couple of kids whom you know are about to stir up some trouble? We don't very often, but when we do, it's going to be bad for everyone involved. Especially if it's these sociopaths...

History: No one knows where this pair of what we think are twins came from. They certainly won't say anything definitive. What we do know is that they wait for people to move in next to their house. From there, they hold whoever they encounter hostage, and put them through torturous mind games that they bet will get them all killed by tomorrow. It's all in good fun...

Notable Kills: The death of that kid is given a LOT of time to sink in...

Final Fate: Peter is blasted with a shotgun...but then Paul rewinds the film so that it ends with the whole family dead. They later resume their games with another family...

Powers/Abilities: Manipulation of reality, apparently.

Weakness: Anything conventional, if they don't reset it first.

Scariness Factor: 4.5-They look perfectly nice, but even then, there’s already something a bit too nice about them. And then these Paul Brothers wannabees turn deadly, treating their little torture porn like it's some kind of funny game (ha). Oh, and they'll break the rules just to see you dead.

Trivia: -This film is actually a remake of one from 1997, complete with the same director, Michael Haneke.

-According to Haneke, the point of this film was to illustrate the interplay of media and violence, as well as how pointless it all is. Whether that makes for a good movie is up to you.

We are the monsters with puppets under our strings.

All that can remain now.
NO. Not now or ever.

"Sure, I...may have forgot to put airholes in that, but I'm sure he's fine."
And we bet a sea monter will turn the tables on you.

Everyone was walking on eggshells and the predictable happened.
